I put my salmon in a duffle bag and keep the bag with the fish in it inside the hatch, the water is cold enough to keep the fish cool until I get back on land, works very well.

Could be a good idea. There are plenty of ways to prepare fish, and I think it tastes so much better when you caught the fish yourself.

fresh shrimp is delicious haven't caught any on a kayak but have one shrimping and the shrimp were amazing.
